Today we had a nerd mini-adventure of playing network games all day. The adventurous part was that we had it outside. Obviously this was a nerds only event....
The games played were: Sven Co-op Dodgeball The Ship (HL1 based version)
Most of the day was spent playing Sven Coop... Which we didn't do so well at. We did manage to complete one map, but the sequel to it had us beat. I think we got close, but you can never really tell.
The Ship we played for about 5 minutes (took longer to install) because we found it kind of dodgy. The version we were playing was nowhere near as fun as the "real" one available through Steam.
We finished up the day with the HL2 mod Dodgeball. For some reason we were all pretty bad at it. All 3 of us used to be heaps better. Not sure what happened there.
We were told afterwards that it sounded like we had fun. Apparently the laughing and excited shouts could be heard from outside the front of the house.
